	Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) – Advent Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Sierra Pacific Synod – The ELCA is divided geographically into synods. Advent is in the Sierra Pacific Synod, which includes Northern California and Northern Nevada. Monterey Bay Conference –Each synod is divided geographically into conferences. Advent is a part of the Monterey Bay conference, which includes all ELCA and some Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod congregations from Morgan Hill to King City.
	The ELCA Division for Church in Society focuses on addressing the needs of God's world through service, justice, peace and care of the earth. It also includes the Department for Studies, which develops drafts and social statement for the ELCA.
	The Lutheran is the award-winning official monthly magazine of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is the largest denominational publication in the United States. The Lutheran Magazine strives to explore Christian faith on a personal, congregational and worldwide basis through stories that educate, inspire and nurture faith. It includes news, devotional articles, study guides and other useful information.
	Lutheran World Relief works with people around the world to overcome poverty and injustice, secure safe water, nutritious food, good health, improved skills and better livelihoods.
	Lutheran Services in America is a multifaceted organization of the ELCA and Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod whose members serve one in 50 people in the United States and the Caribbean. LSA is the largest not for profit social services network in the United States
	Global Health Ministries is a grassroots movement that provides financial and material support to Lutheran health care mission programs in developing countries. GHM supporters believe there are significant untapped health care resources in the United States that are desperately needed by Lutheran medical missionaries and the people they serve overseas.
	Holden Village is a Lutheran retreat center in the North Cascade Mountains in Washington State.
	Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is the Lutheran Seminary on the West Coast (in Berkeley, California).
	Graduate Theological Union is a consortium of many of the seminaries of different churches in the Bay Area, also located in Berkeley, California.
	Project Wittenberg is a project to post on the Internet a cross-section of classic and historic texts by Lutheran authors (including Martin Luther, of course!).
	The Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission – The Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission (NELM) is located in Rock Point, AZ on the Navajo Indian Reservation.
