Lay Eucharistic Ministry

The Lay Eucharistic Ministry exists to minister to the homebound, ill or hospitalized parishioners of Advent Lutheran Church, who are unable to be present at the regular worship service to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Those designated by the congregation as Eucharistic Ministers are carefully selected and trained for this special ministry. The goal of this ministry is to administer the sacrament of communion, provide emotional support and ascertain any needs, which the pastor or the congregation might meet.
