1st Bible Class

'A Walk Through the Bible'

The third and fourth grade Sunday School students at Advent Lutheran Church are introduced to the Bible and Bible Study through a class called 'A Walk through the Bible'. The class meets during the regular Sunday School hour for four consecutive Sundays. The students, accompanied by their parents, explore the basics of Bible organization, receive valuable practice in locating particular passages in the Bible and briefly discuss important Bible passages. After the class concludes, the pastor, the teacher and their parents present each participating student with personal Bibles of their own during a Sunday morning worship.
