Sharing our stories in a spiritual direction setting encourages new perspectives into them as they are expressed. This dedicated time focused on God-with-us, engenders a contemplative way of engaging life, awake to the sacredness of all people and the whole of creation. Prayer, as well as other spiritual practices, may be explored within spiritual direction as a way of opening to the liberating, healing and life-giving Spirit of God.
